Kick-off Meeting: Towards an Entrepreneurial Support Program for the Students of Ibn Tofaïl University

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, a strategic meeting was held between Empowerment Center and ES Maroc, marking the beginning of an ambitious partnership to promote student entrepreneurship at Ibn Tofaïl University. This meeting focused on the establishment of a certified entrepreneurial support program designed to assist student project holders at every stage of their journey, with special attention given to green entrepreneurship.

An innovative and structured program

This program, initiated by ES Maroc in collaboration with Empowerment Center, is based on a series of 5 training sessions that will take place on May 14 and 15, 2025. These sessions aim to equip students with the tools, skills, and resources needed to turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality while adopting an eco-responsible approach.

Particular attention will be paid to ecological projects, focused on green, sustainable innovation and environmental protection, which will be given priority during the selection and financing process.

Funding for the selected projects will be provided by an international donor based in Denmark, for an amount ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 dirhams.

A financing opportunity

At the end of the training, candidates will be required to present their final pitch before the Danish donor between late June and early July 2025.

Seven projects will be selected to receive funding ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 dirhams, with a strong emphasis on green and ecological initiatives.

A targeted communication campaign

To maximize student participation, a promotional poster will be shared on Ibn Tofaïl University’s social media platforms in partnership with ES Maroc, alongside the release of an awareness and call-for-applications video.

An online registration form will also be made available to students, with a submission deadline set for May 8, 2025.
